Excellent stuff MM - Good hotel recommendation too. I don't like to spend more than 1K if I ever to stay for a night in Bangkok. I can't understand paying a lot of money to be somewhere nice for one night when you are going to be unconscious.
Cheers Danbo.
Totally agree...especially where you can fall unconscious off the skytrain and still arrive home
It must be quite a novelty for Australians to come to Thailand, what with all these indoor toilets and that sort of stuffOriginally Posted by MeMock
The first time I saw a bidet in a bathroom I thought that it was a drinking fountain....Thankfully I wasn't thirsty.
Talking of toilets, as we are, what's the idea with the telephone next to the toilet in posh hotel room bathrooms? What sort of person rings someone up when they're sitting on the bog?
37 weeks pregnant again? I guess there is not so much to do where you live in Australia.
No wonder you flew to Thailand.
How do you know when someone's on the bog?Originally Posted by danbo

Nice looking racka' MM, but a lousy little serve of coleslaw from a can, and no other salad. Furthermore, you didn't touch it as far as I can see! Tut Tut.
actually you are correct - i didnt even try it! I also couldn't finish my meal and the pic of the empty plate is my friend.
Is that a rib in ya pocket or......
Maaatttee - my luck with hotels is continuing, I have just moved across the street. Awesome, uploading pics now.
Seems like Silom is cheaper than Sukhumvit for accomodation. I would not have guessed that, it's the Banking area.
I am now at the unico silom which is on soi 3. Unico Grande Silom Hotel,Discount Unico Grande Silom Hotel,Unico Grande Silom hotel in Bangkok,Budget Unico Grande Silom hotel
about 2,000 baht a night.
Full kitchen, stereo, dvd player etc.
And would you believe....free internet! If I had known that I would have spent all my time here.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.
That looks the business Mecock
is it Bar lady friendly or another gay gaff that you seem to like
It does indeed look very nice.
Thanks for these recommendations Memock.
I might have to go to Bangkok for a few days next month.
Used to be called the Tower Inn.It was "gay friendly" as well.Nice pool on the roof though.
Pool was on the third floor, you sure its the same place?
And stuffed if I know if it is guest friendly or not and I don't intend to find out.
