KL, penang and mallaca

hello all, just after some tips and advice from those who have been to the above places, hotels, food, stuff to gawp at, tips for taxis etc

im off there in jan for a visa quick visa run, got some air asia flights cheap to get back from KL, going to use buses and trains for getting there and to move about

been wanting to visit mallaca for a while, and also penang, any good beaches in that part of the world?

I like Mallaca better than Panang. Both nice, but Mallaca is more interesting. Sorry I cannot recomend a hotel, can't remember where I stayed.
