^Fuck - even worse! Best of luck!
Congrats Dave !
Will you as next step apply to be a Flippo Passport Holder ?
As my wife will be Swiss i asked her to be Flippo, she said why would you bother and without checking, told me you can't...
^Ha Ha! Think I'll stop at permanent resident.
Well, to close out this thread, after one year on a "probationary" permanent residence visa, I got my final "permanent" permanent residence visa issued today. The visa in my passport is good for life. The alien certificate of residence (ACR) card, which looks like a driver's license, has to be renewed every five years at a cost of about $5 and can be done at the province Immigration office. So, DONE! Much credit to my wife who, as the sponsor, had to endure almost all of the BS. In the entire process, I only made two appearances at Immigration - one at the local office last year, and one at main Immigration in Manila this year. Glad to have this done with..........
congratulation Davis, now its only teenage kids that will make you nuts.
Well done, DK!
Just wish it was that easy here. Should have made an effort 10 years ago - now the obstacles are way too high.
