Chairs and Knives used in vicious vendor foray in South Pattaya

Chairs and Knives used in vicious vendor foray in South Pattaya

Police called to Pratumnak Hill in the early hours of Thursday, were astounded to find a battle between food vendors had escalated into armed violence which called for the extra assistance of the emergency medical service.

Operating from the forecourt of a convenience store, Khun Anusong, aged 30 had established his seafood stall and begun to trade when Khun Konsang, a 34 year old Kebab seller parked directly in front of the seafood stand, making it invisible to the passing public.

The seafood seller was enraged and after requesting that the kebab stall be moved, only for his request to be denied, he took justice into his own hands and struck the kebab seller with a chair continually until he had inflicted severe head injuries upon his opponent.

The kebab seller located a very long knife, used normally to slice the Kebabs, and used it to stop his assailant from his attack, inflicting injuries on both arms and back of the seafood seller.

Police removed the Kebab seller to the local police station to assist in further enquiries, as the seafood seller was rushed to Banglamung Hospital for medical assistance to his various injuries.

Police are keen to interview him too once the hospital releases him.

The moral of this story is : Don't bring a chair to a knife fight. My money was on the knife wielding kebab salesman.

Textbook policing error. The brace of Award Winners to the left have gone completely unnoticed by that fucking rookie. Don't worry about the blood, mate - the two empties right there are the culprits.

Is that a live swordfish ? If so I will back the dude with the fish. Used to fight with them back home on the prawn trawlers, they don't like being trawled up.

i'd thought maybe a frozen one, that way the knife guy would have more of a chance in the later rounds after the fish started to thaw.. It'd make sure the seafood guy had to come out of gates quick. that said a live swordfish could work. we. have. options. gentlemen.

I, too, would pay to see that shit. Although I believe that by the time the frozen swordfish had even begun to thaw out, the kebab salesman would have been reduced to sushi. Could you imagine the reaction from the Thais on the street if some loony started swinging wildly with a dangerous looking fish ?

I think your average would probably eat the Sushi'd kebab man.

    Aroi mak mak.

I think you're right about the danger posed by the frozen swordfish, maybe we should allow the kebab guy to use a frozen kebab "elephants leg" as a shield. Even it up a bit?

No matter what weapons are used I think you are right, and there is a good chance the crowd will eat both the fighters and the weapons.

If the kebab vendor had lost a lot of blood I wonder if a doner would have been found?
