Thai Woman jumps to her death from South Pattaya 9th Floor condo

Thai Woman jumps to her death from South Pattaya 9th Floor condo

A Thai woman reportedly jumped to her death after a drinking session with her Danish boyfriend. Khun Somkuan aged 35 is alleged to have jumped from the 9th floor balcony of room number 932, occupied by Mr. Jorn Lyngso aged 71 at the Yensabai Condotel in South Pattaya.

Pattaya Police were called-in to investigate the incident and spoke with Mr. Lyngso who suggested the pair were drinking throughout the night.

At the time of the incident, Khun Somkuan reportedly said goodbye to Mr. Lyngso and threw herself off the balcony.

She is known to have suffered from stress, according to friends of the victim who soon arrived.

Police tell us they are investigating the case further as they are not happy with some of the details given by Mr. Lyngso who is helping Police with their investigations for now.

Thai's never commit suicide, in the eyes of the law, when there are farrangs to be fleeced.

Funny how they always accept the story when it's the farang who 'jumped' but not when it's the Thai.

That Yensabai gaff is not a nice building.

It must have been something bad to make a Thai woman jump, as they are the ones who usually control the farang so much that he jumps.

    Maybe they flipped a coin.

Maybe they had both discussed him jumping, and she was showing him how.

I can't see how a 71 y old could possibly throw down the balcony a 35 y old. She was probably mao and fell by herself while puking.

My thoughts exactly . The BIB can determine a farang "suicide" within 10 minutes , but this time they're "not happy" with witness evidence from a foreigner . Strange , but not surprising .

Thai's, especially women, cannot take alcohol. They get drunk easily.

Is the balcony one of those absurdly low ones?

Drunk Thai female pops out to take a mobile phone call on the balcony and "whoops" she's gone. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Quite a silly system anyway, when some dumb street cop decides if the story is sufficient or not, instead of a district attorney. It does sound like they can smell money. Unless there is something suspicious about this other than what is contained in the article.

Sounds like my mate in Scotland, who pushed his wife out of the bedroom window upstairs. He phoned the Police and then run downstairs and outside and put a chamoil leather in her hand.
When the Police arrived he said "she fell out when she was cleaning the windows"

With friends like you, writing personal and better unrepeated stuff like that in a publication that can be read in Scotland, he does not need any enemies.

I would guess he was joking.

I guess I can blame it on being divorced, and later doing divorce cases as an attorney; but the fact his supposed mate or friend was blabbing about it was more shocking to me on a first reading than the thought of someone doing it. I scare myself some times.

^I think shadow's point was that if she had actually had it in her hand when she fell, she would have dropped it on the way down.
