Ratchaburi School and Chanthaburi Night Club Destroyed by Fires

A school building in the Chom Bueng district of Ratchaburi province was destroyed in a fire, while yesterday, a night club in Chanthaburi province was damaged in another fire.

No casualties were reported in both incidents.

A building at Wat Soongnern Ratsadorn Bamrung School in Chom Bueng district in Ratchaburi province was destroyed in a fire.

Firefighters tried to contain the blaze, which spread quickly throughout the more than 30 year old wooden building that was used for storage without success.

Based on their initial investigation, fire officials believe that old electrical wiring was the cause of the fire.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported because the incident took place on Sunday.

Also in the morning of the same day, another fire damaged a night club located in the Muang district of Chanthaburi province.

It took the emergency workers about a half an hour to contain the fire.


No casualties were reported as no one was inside the club at the time of the incident.

The investigation points to faulty electrical wiring as the cause.
