Police seize B130m of yaba, ice

Police on Sunday arrested four suspects on charges of possessing 576,000 methamphetamine pills and seven kilogrammes of crystal methamphetamine, known as ice, with a street value of 130 million baht in total.

Police advisor Assawin Kwanmuang said the four suspects are Weerawat Sawatchart, 28, Thirachai Saeyang, 27, Ekachai Ngarmsa-ard, 26, and Saengarun Saisuwan.

They were arrested at a house in Muang district of Pathum Thani province.

Pol Gen Assawin said the drugs were smuggled from the North to Bangkok and peripheral areas.
