Drug Dealer Hides Ya-Ice in Croissants
A sting operation led to the arrest of a drug dealer in Pattaya along with 7.78 grams of the class 1 drug Ya-Ice.
Pattaya, 29th June 2010[PDN] At 4.00 am Police Captain Jamrat Thongjinda (Pattaya Police Investigator) conducted his team of officers and volunteers to catch Mr. Anurak Nerama [24] from Trad, a drug dealer.
The offender was caught under a sting operation using 23,000 baht in cash for purchasing 6 packs of Ya-Ice 7.78 gram in weight in front of McDonalds on Sukhumvit Road, Nongprue, Banglamung.

The instant that Mr. Nerama drove his red Honda Click into the car park which was the arranged meeting point, the officers appeared.
On searching him, they found Ya-Ice hidden in croissants under the seat of the motorbike.
The 23,000 baht along with a mobile phone and his motorbike were confiscated as evidence.Mr. Nerama confessed that he had purchased the Ya-Ice from a friend named “Nid” who lived in Soi Nonghin, Banglamung area to sell to the teenagers and tourists in Pattaya.
He needed the money from the sales of the drugs for the due birth of his baby.
He added that before delivering the drugs, he would put them into the croissant to avoid detection by the police.
Mr. Nerama has been charged for with illegally selling the class 1 drug Ya- Ice before being sent to the police station for further judicial procedures.
