Belgian Man found dead under old Pier in South Pattaya.

On Tuesday Afternoon, Police Major Sureeya from Pattaya Police Station was called to Pattaya Beach to investigate the discovery of a deceased foreigner. The body of Mr. Ken Harold G Jones aged 27 from Belgium was discovered underneath the old pier located close to the entrance to Walking Street. The last person to see Mr. Jones alive was Khun Wanchanna aged 29 who had seen him just before daybreak on Tuesday. He was in a drunken state and carrying a bottle of Thai whisky and invited Khun Wanchanna to join him. She spent the next few hours with him underneath the pier and the pair eventually fell asleep. When she awoke, she realized that Mr. Jones had died. An inspection of the body was conducted and no signs of a trauma or anything else suspicious were found. He was also in possession of his valuables. Police suspect he died from Alcohol poisoning, however the case will remain open until the results of a post mortem examination are received.
