HSH Princess Bhanuma Yugala disappeared yesterday inside a Cambodian casino a day after she was arrested by Aranyaprathet immigration police for crossing the border without travel documents.

She reportedly gave immigration police the slip at Rong Kleua market at 6pm on Friday and sneaked across the border to Poi Pet.

Staff at Ho Wah Genting

casino spotted her on Friday night and immediately alerted Thai immigration police, who received permission to enter Cambodia and bring the princess back.

But neither the Aranyaprathet immigration police nor the Klong Leuk station police could find her.

She was seen crossing the Cambodian border to Ho

Wah Genting casino several times.

A casino employee, who did not want to be named, said he recognised the princess because she was a regular visitor and could often be seen wandering around the market giving money to Cambodian beggars.

He said the princess was able to enter Cambodia without proper documents by travelling through a bamboo forest that leads to the Holiday Casino.

Princess Bhanuma, who operates a guesthouse and a restaurant in Bangkok, is the sixth heiress to the late Prince Bhanubhandu Yugala and Mom Chailai Yugala.
