A heated altercation at a popular hot pot restaurant in central Pattaya escalated into a violent brawl between two people, leaving multiple others injured. The incident, which unfolded earlier this week, led to a rapid response from Pattaya police.
According to authorities from Pattaya City Police Station, officers from Patrol Unit 1, Area 5, received reports of a fight at the restaurant. Upon arrival, they encountered a chaotic scene involving a transgender woman, a woman, and her brother engaged in a dispute that had turned physical.
The conflict reportedly began with a verbal argument at a dining table before escalating dramatically. Witnesses stated that the transgender woman launched a kick to the face of the woman, striking her right eyebrow. In retaliation, the woman hurled a beer glass, hitting the transgender woman near the nose and causing bleeding.
The situation worsened when the woman’s brother, identified only as “Mr. Not,” attempted to intervene. He sustained a severe cut to his right wrist near a major blood vessel after being struck by a glass, adding to the chaos.
Patrol officers quickly stepped in to de-escalate the situation, teaming up with friends of the involved parties to transport the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both sides were unable to reach an agreement to settle the matter amicably at the scene, and the matter has been referred to Pattaya City Police Station for further investigation. The name of the restaurant was withheld.
