Russian Man Arrested After Super Car Racing on Samui Island

A Russian driver was arrested after he raced his super car on the Samui Island in Surat Thani.


The Bo Phut Police Chief Colonel Denduang Thongsrisuk told the Phuket Express that the issue was posted in social media after locals were concerned about reckless driving on Tuesday (September 24th). The person who posted on social media said that the yellow super car driver also caused a public nuisance with loud noise. Police found the super car parked at a villa.

Mr. Alexandr, 30, Russian national, later presented himself as the super car’s owner. He presented legal sales document to police. However, the color of the car did not match with details in the Department of Land Transport system. Mr. Alexandr was fined 5,000 baht for driving vehicle which color differences from legal details. Police also warned him about reckless driving and car racing.


Mr. Alexandr has promised to police that he will not race a car with reckless driving again. He also apologized to locals and other road users for causing a public nuisance.

Super Car

hardly seper. its an old nissan 350Z, they stopped making them 15 years ago, and these days seem to be popular with abduls from bradford or ryans from milton keynes. they can be picked up by these chumps for chump change, or more likely nicked for free.

a very good car in their time, but these days invariably thrashed to death by coked up scrotes doing dough nuts around their council estates , or of course russian knobheads on koh samui.
