CHUMPHON, 26th August 2018 (NNT) - Mr Wei Cheung, the head of the Import and Export Department of JD Central, China, has visited a factory in Chumphon to see the process of manufacturing pillows from rubber.

Mr Buason Prachamon, the owner of the brand “Siree” who greeted Mr Cheung and the manager of the import and export business of JD Central at the factory in Chum Kho Subdistrict, Chumphon Province recently disclosed that before he became a distributor of healthy latex pillows under the brand Siree, he purchased latex pillows from cooperatives of rubber farmers all over the nation.

The grouping of the rubber farmers was brought about by the government to solve the problem of low rubber prices for farmers. At first the pillows sold well in both Thailand and foreign countries, especially China, which gives much importance to health and ordered so many pillows that the cooperatives couldn't manufacture them in time.

As a result, Mr Buason had to deliver pillows from factories to the customers instead, but then he faced the problem of the factory pillows being of inferior quality compared to those produced by the coops. Therefore, he created the brand “Siree”, which distributes only handmade pillows.

Mr Buason also said that JD Central, China had received a notification from his corporation that they could manufacture only six thousand health pillows per month because they are handmade. Therefore, JD Central, China wanted to come to observe every step in the process of manufacturing 100% rubber pillows, to order them for distribution in China.
