BANGKOK, 29th May 2018 (NNT) - The Bangkok Governor, Pol. Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, said the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will select 150 alleys in all 50 districts of the capital and promote them as community parks.

Pol. Gen. Aswin said each district office would choose three alleys in its jurisdiction where local communities express the willingness to help the BMA carry out this project. Residents in the selected alleys would be encouraged to grow trees and flowers in front of their houses while keeping their communities clean and tidy.

The Bangkok Governor said the BMA would not have to do any spending, since the locals will help maintain their parks.

He added that the BMA would award communities with the most beautiful alleys.
