CHACHOENGSAO, 3rd May 2018, (NNT) - The administrative officials in Chachoengsao province have discovered a number of operators of dormitories and other accommodation have violated their business permits by renting their rooms daily and performing additional construction without official authorization.
The discovery was made during an inspection conducted by the head of Chachoengsao Provincial Defense Office and his officers, part of the province’s effort to prevent teenagers from attending immoral gatherings and intended to enforce the law governing the accommodation businesses.
Aside from providing illegal daily rental accommodation, some of the dormitory owners are also lacking proper fire distinguishing systems and fire exits. A number of them also constructed additional living quarters without the authorization of the provincial administrative organization. Unauthorized construction may cause harm to the habitants. Officials initially gave warnings to the violators and will soon produce a report for the Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization for further assessment.
The provincial defense head said that the governmental officials concerned will be meeting with accommodation business owners and explaining the regulations related to their operations. Hotel operators are exempted from the summons, as their permits allow for daily rental accommodation.
