Lone robber turns in to Chumphon police for robber, murder charge at Tesco Lotus Chum

A lone robber turned himself in to the police in Chumphon province to face armed robbery and murder charges.

Ronakorn Supamongkollert, 26, surrendered to Pol Lt Gen Sorasak Yenprem, commissioner of the Provincial Police Region 8, after he was wanted for killing a woman shopper, Mrs Tasanee Chaisri, 56, and snatching her handbag and gold necklace while she was at the toilet of Tesco Lotus Chumphon on the night of April 11.

Ronakorn admitted to assaulting the woman with knife when she resisted and screamed for help.

He said he had no intention to kill her but just wanted her money.

He said he followed her into the toilet after noticing her wearing gold necklace and carrying handbag.

He said he planned the robbery just to pay for debt resulted from soccer bet.

The police said the robber had a criminal record for murder when he was 16.

Following the armed robberies at Tesco Lotus Chumphon twice which two victims were killed, the police have asked the firm to step up security measures and install more safety devices to ensure safe shopping.

If they don't get you on the roads, they'll get you when yer shopping.

Or maybe that Tetco-Lotat needs a bigger spirit house with more bottles of red Fantaaa out front.

All things considered, instead of laying all the public safety security responsibility, on the shoulders of Tesco_Lotus, the criminal court could logically put that murdering bloke, into a maximum security prison, for the rest of his pathetic life. That public_safety security problem solved. Case closed.
