BANGKOK, 21 March 2018 (NNT) - Kasetsart University Veterinary Teaching Hospital is offering free rabies vaccinations and pet sterilizations to help curb stray populations and promote proper pet care.
Pet sterilization services are available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The hospital is also dispatching mobile teams to areas with high stray populations to stem the deadly mammal virus.
Veterinary Doctor Wijit Sutthiprapa, Assistant Director at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, has assured pet owners of the safety of the free sterilization procedure, saying they are performed by experienced veterinarians.
Appointments for pet spaying or neutering services can be made everyday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the hospital. Pet owners will then be informed of the surgery appointment dates. The campaign continues until September 28th, 2018.
