A 4-seater small plane crashed landed in Thalang district of Phuket province on Saturday morning (March 10) killing two persons and seriously injuring two others.
The incident happened at about 10.21am at Tambon Pa Klok in Thalang district. The plane, which belonged to Siam Flying Club, crashed into a deserted rice field opposite a small airfield during a training mission. Thalang police and rescue workers rushed to the scene after being alerted of the incident.
Thalang district officer said the two killed persons were the pilot trainer and the mechanic, while two injured were rushed to Thalang hospital.
It was not immediately known the cause of the fatal crash.

I can't wait to hear the answer to this one. And that's the official one, not the CSI:TD one.crashed into a deserted rice field
