BANGKOK, 15 February 2018 (NNT) – A Thai traditional dance troupe is scheduled to travel to the United Kingdom next week to take part in cultural shows as part of an effort to strengthen bilateral relations.

According to Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Director-General of the Department of Information and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Thai cultural promotion tour will be organized in London from February 21-28 under the Foreign Ministry’s cooperation with the Culture Ministry and the Royal Thai Embassy in London.

Joining this trip is a group of Thai classical dancers from Bunditpatanasilpa Institute. They are set to perform at the British Museum on February 22 and at Kew Gardens on February 22, 23 and 26 as part of the Orchids Festival 2018.

The objective of this cultural promotion tour is to enhance the Thai-UK friendship and relations and to project a good image of Thailand to the international community.
