The provincial public health official said the province has been carrying out the Andaman Hub Medical Network project to improve emergency medical services at sea, with marine emergency medical operation and service centers established at tourism attractions, as well as the establishment of Khao Lak medical service center.
The network will also help reduce complications and fatality from medical emergencies, and help bring in more tourism revenues to Phang Nga and provinces by the Andaman Sea from improved safety confidence among tourists.
A ceremony will be held on February 19th, 2018, to dispatch a special workforce to protect and assist tourists on Similan Islands.
