BANGKOK, 9 February 2018 (NNT) - The Government Savings Bank (GSB) will work with education institutes across the country during the second phase of the national welfare program to provide job training as well as loans for occupational purposes.
GSB President Chatchai Payuhanaveechai revealed that over 200,000 people have registered during the second phase of the welfare program to receive job training. Applicants will also receive larger stipends until December this year. Those who get 300 baht will receive 500 baht, while those who get 200 baht will receive 300 baht. Those who register but fail to attend job training programs will have the additional stipends deducted.
GSB will also work with over 40 education institutes across the country to provide job training, as well as teach principles of self sufficiency and financial discipline.
