BANGKOK, 30th January 2018 (NNT) - The Department of Internal Trade and the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) have opened over 50 Blue Flag booths at Chatuchak MRT station, selling household goods at inexpensive prices.
The Permanent Secretary for Commerce, Nantawan Sakuntanak, said the Blue Flag booths at the subway station are opened from January 29th to February 7th, 2018, between 7.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m.
The department has continually organized events to sell affordable products to the public. Agricultural products are directly sold by producers to consumers at prices between 20 and 40 percent lower than normal prices.
The government has initiated the Blue Flag project to help reduce people's cost of living and increase product choices for consumers.
