BANGKOK, 25 July 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Interior has reported on the progress made in the final week of its 200,000 baht funding project per village.
Interior Ministry Permanent Secretary Krissada Boonyarat disclosed that its funding program has elevated the capacity of grassroots economies in accordance with the government's civil-state approach and His Majesty the King's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
Nearly 74,600 out of more than 85,400 villages nationwide were each provided a fund of 200,000 baht. As of July 22, over 1.2 billion baht was disbursed for nearly 72,500 village projects. The program is scheduled to be completed on July 31.
