SONGKHLA, 30 April 2016 (NNT) – The southern province of Songkhla is hosting one of the world’s most exciting events, the “Thailand International Balloon Festival 2016”, from now until May 1st.

The Thailand International Balloon Festival 2016 is being held under the theme of “Let’s Fly and Fun”. Eighteen giant balloons from 12 countries are floating above the skies of Hat Yai, drawing a large number of local people and tourists from Malaysia and Singapore.

The festival also features balloon shows and parades, lighting shows, and a balloon dance which is the main highlight of the event.

The organizers are looking forward to welcoming all visitors and offering tourists yet another great reason to visit this beautiful city in southern Thailand.

The festival is taking place until May 1st.
