Baht Bus Heroics as angry hit and run suspect is caught in Central Pattaya.
This case, caught on camera, comes from a small road near the Pattaya Memorial Hospital in Central Pattaya. From what appears to be a simple collision between a Baht Bus and a car turned out to me a much more involved story. We begin with the driver of the Silver Honda City, Khun Pisamai aged 48. According to information given to us by the Baht Bus Driver and Police, she had apparently been involved in a hit and run accident on the Pratamnuk Road in South Pattaya. She was accused of colliding with Baht Bus Number 439. The driver of Baht Bus Number 377, Khun Sanor aged 34, saw the crash and decided to follow the Honda Car driven by Khun Pisamai. He realized she was not going to stop and eventually blocked the road near the Hospital. Khun Pisamai could not stop in time and hit the Baht Bus. Police soon arrived and were met by a barrage of abuse from Khun Pisamai. The Police tell us they suspected she was heavily intoxicated. Khun Pisamai is now facing charges of reckless driving and failing to stop at a road accident.
