Dutch-Thai Pattaya Swingers Party Crashed By Police

A Dutch-Thai couple was arrested for hosting a “swingers” party at a south Pattaya resort that was raided by police. Undercover agents had infiltrated the Saturday night party, then exposed themselves as police officers, which panicked the nearly naked partygoers.

Early on Sunday Morning Pattaya Police conducted a raid on a resort in Jomtien which was openly organizing Swingers Party’s through their website and charging people to join.

The raid took place at the Rama Kien Resort in Soi 15 off the Thappraya Road who are well-known for organizing Saturday Night Swingers events at a cost of 2,300 Baht per person.

Police entered the resort and many of the couples made a hasty retreat. Officers detained Khun Kanika aged 42 and 61 year old Dutchan Mr. Anthony Verloop who were Police identified as the main organizers of the event and also detained 10 couples of various nationality who were accused of participating in the Swingers Party.

Initially a male and female Police Officer went in undercover and registered themselves to attend to event which they described as involving at least 10 couples. When the party had started other officers entered the resort and found couples in various states of undress. Items including condoms and sex toys were seized and taken into evidence.

The Rama Kien Resort publicizes itself as a Nudist Resort and allows only couples to stay there. Although their website does not explicitly mention couples can have sex with other couples it does suggest that the couples stay at the resort should be planned around the females menstruation cycle.

Police are now studying their law books to see exactly what offences have been committed. The investigation continues.

Seems the Bt.2300 is the price of a room for the night, interesting to see how this plays out as all I see is consenting couples have paid for a room for the evening and things progressed from there.

being a little sexually confused, like the NRA membership, they probably did think they were exposing themselves when they pulled out their gun, and said "its the police, stop or I will come on you".

CHON BURI - More than 10 couples, mostly foreigners, tried to flee a swingers' party in Bang Lamung district after police raided a resort early Sunday morning.

A sting operation was launched after police were informed that a swingers' party was held every Saturday night at Rama Kien Resort in Bang Lamung district. Officers raided the resort and found more than 20 Thais and foreigners, male and female, almost naked. Some were wearing only a towel.

Police said they tried to escape during the raid, but all were detained and questioned before been released. Officers found 25 used condoms and sex toys as well as a copy of an invitation to the swingers' party.

Anthony Verloop, a 61-year-old Dutchman, and a Thai woman, Kannikar Karnkhai, 42, admitted to jointly operating the resort and a website informing potential customers that they were running a nude resort. They invited people who like swinging to join a party. Each had to pay 23,000 baht membership to enjoy sex anywhere in the resort or have swinging partners.

After the investigation, the pair were charged with providing an indecent or immoral service.
