    PHUKET: A tour bus driver fled the scene after the bus he was driving struck two women riding a motorbike in the northbound lane of Thepkrasattri Road yesterday afternoon.

    The two women who died in the accident were identified by Thalang Police as Jaroonrat Waree, 35, and Nadlada Waree, 17.

    “The motorbike rider and passenger were dragged by the bus at least 500 meters before it came to a stop north of Mud Dok Khao junction [the main turnoff toward Nai Yang Beach],” said Sub Lt Chatree Chuwichian.

    Police are still searching for the driver, he added.

    The sad part is that this is the start of the peak season in Phuket. I'm willing to be that we're going to hear more stories like this.

    Maybe Mid. but you should drive according to conditions,

    but sadly here they do not

    bumper sticker

    There was a small suv in the early 1990s that had a reputation of tipping over. An owner put a bumper sticker upside down on the rear bumper that said "If you can read this please push me back on my tires"
