Illegal Gun dealer caught in undercover sting at Pattaya Petrol Station



An illegal gun salesman was arrested by Pattaya Police on Thursday afternoon. Police Colonel Pantanna, Acting Pattaya Police Chief, held a press conference to announce the arrest of Khun Wirachai aged 23 who was arrested at the Bangchak Petrol Station on the Sukhumvit Road in Jomtien after he was lured to the area by an undercover officer who made contact with the suspect who was known to be attempting to sell his unregistered firearm.

The suspect arrived with the weapon and was subsequently arrested.

He was also subjected to a drug urine test which he failed.

Charges relating to the firearm and class 1 drug consumption were brought against Khun Wirachai who awaits a Court appearance.
