Got another phone call today.....urgent action required, wanted me to come in immediately.

Hmmmm....I was to hungover from last night.

Said I was sick...cough cough...can drag meself in tomorrow am...ok but first thing ok at 8am.

I think they are going to give me citizenship !!!

Did not get citizenship

The adventure continued today...

I am not yet a citizen.

I am however the proud new owner of another 30 day 'still under consideration ' stamp.

I now have '6' under consideration stamps on 2 pages.

I must admit, I nearly cracked under pressure today. First in the door, expected to get 30 days so quick and be gone....11.32am and still nothing.

I held it together though, I needed a release so I went to the toilet and pissed on the floor. That felt better.

Went back and my number was called...30 days.

Justice shall prevail. I will not crack.

Good shall triumph over evil.

Well....its that time of the month again.

No I am not bleeding......again.

30 days up again, oh how time flies......

Just proved that the hoops do not have to be jumped through....but yes the hoops are the easier option.

Some rules need bending and sometimes if the reason for the bend...like to tight reg grundies...is explained often enough, then you can get what you think and believe is right.

Well, it was that time of year again.

I had to go to Korat Immigration this time.

I must say, that I am sure that Korat Immigration office has not seen such a fine arse and face for a very long time from what I observed in there today.

Then my wife walked in and we broke 2 records in the one day.

So, what was suppoed to be an easy trip to see if my visa was approved or not, turned into outright panic when the day before i looked into my passport and saw that the date to return to the office was in fact the day i was looking at it and not the following day that I had marked in my diary and the day that I and the missus heard the immigration dude say to return.

So, I had visions of being told to start all over again, or being locked up for having no visa, or any of the combination of a hundred other scenarios.

I would be a day late, technically no visa. Added to this was the little problem of no 90 day report for quite sometime and then i read the little notice they put in my passport the last time upon application last month.....it said, 90 day reports are subject to a max fine of 5k baht and a further 200b per day until rectified.....crikey, i was looking at a 30/40k fine if the letter of the law followed.

I had planned an escape to the border, a run up to Nong Khai and run across and back and reset it if it comes to this, but how to get out of the office and do it.

I had a plan, cannot say what the plan was because what i did was illegal.

I was somewhat relieved when i exited the building with a new 12 month visa and a new 90 day reporting date.....all at no cost.

So, until this time next year.......areeva.....arreveder....arivadu....good bye.
