What I would do. Question is how long to wait? I would try next 90 day and see what happens.

If not good enjoy a day in CW...

I avoid online for this very reason.

Though it's only a 15 - 20 minute trip for me.

Let's hope the whole farce is abandoned before the next one.

Agreed. Otherwise it’s one less reason for a person to improve their socialisation skills, or as in your case, become even more insular and parochial.

Have you tried phoning the IO?

I've had "pending" before. One is still "pending" from several years ago. That time, I waited until just before the deadline day for being late then went to immigration and did it in person. It has been OK since.

The ball really isn't in Immigration's court, tc, it's in yours. Fingers crossed for you that they reply in time, but if they don't and you don't get it done in time, it will be you that has to pay any fine administered. As Norton said, THB 2,000. I m sure they will accept payment at the airport. Good luck.
