Last year’s attempt didn’t go well. This year, will hopefully go better.

Started early. Wanted to get the O-X insurance while in Thailand.

It was a pain last year trying to correspond with companies when there was a time difference of 12 hours.

Out of the 7 listed companies which the Embassy lists as O-X insurance providers, only 4 will actually sell a policy.

What insurer did you use and what was the cost

^ I’ve just renewed my health insurance for visa renewal at the end of this month. AXA is the insurer I used. They are good because you can buy the insurance from outside the country and they issue the certificate you need for the EVisa online immediately.

Age is a factor. But I’ll tell you, it starts off expensive and only get more expensive.
