Just fly into PP and enjoy yourself you cheap bastard.There's not many cheaper places to visit. I can't think of many things worse than travelling to a border checkpoint in a minivan with a load of stinking backpackers, to just come back.
I'm sure there's a law that you have to overnight there but probably what that Cambodian fee is for.

knob - it is 4-6 hours to an airport - not even sure if Ubon goes to PP

nowhere in Thailand is 4-6 hours from an airport, Shirley

burriram airport is at least 2 hours away ( insane that it is 30-40 klms out of burriram ) - surin is only for propeller pullers to get money from the govt

ubon is 2-3 hours away and bangkok is 5-6

so driving 30-40 minutes to chong chom is the best option

No private helicopter to land in the estate grounds, like Dill?

Just read that you can't use an e-visa at Chong Chom, so take 30 crisp bucks or they will rip you for 1500 baht.

I have only gone to the market before

no worries - I will go and check out the job and then pop round to a mate who lives up the road for a few cold beers - hot as fcuk out here now
