What paperwork do you need to take with you?

If just a report, nothing other than your passport and report slip.

    Cheers JJ.

When you say slip, do you mean a form you have to fill in?

Can I get that at Chaeng Wattana or should I find it online and print it out first?

I always print and fill in before hand.

And check which office you should report at.

    Why don't you report online?

You need your receipt of having done your previous 90 day report (if you have done one), a filled out TM.47 form and that's it. You can report in person from 14 days before down until 7 days AFTER your 90 day report is due without incurring the 2000baht fine for failure to report.

FWIW: people in Bangkok can go to three locations to do their 90 day report.
1 ) the main thai immigration office out at the gov't complex on Chaengwattana Road
2 ) Imperial World Mall (Big C Lad Prao Soi 83 5th floor)
3 ) Major Suksawat (across the river in Thonburi ground floor)

    The form you need can be downloaded from the thai immigration website here;
    Formz for Immigration

IF you've entered the country since late 2010 by air or since late 2011 by land AND done at least one 90 day report in person you can also use the online 90 day reporting program.
    90 day online report program

The program ONLY works on I/E or a browser with an I/E emulator ad-on. Turn OFF any pop-up blocker you are running. You'll get a security warning that the link is NOT safe. That's because the 'powerz-that-b' self-signed the security certificate rather than buying one.

The "window of opportunity" for the online system is NOT the same as the one for reporting in person. You can use the online program 15 days before down until 7 days BEFORE your actual 90 day report is due.

If you get past the first page there's a high chance the system will work for you. However if you get this message after entering the CAPTCHA on the first page you can't use the system.

    Good Luck

As mentioned by TD, your previous slip which should have been handed to you on your last report. Ask reception for appropriate form which you need to fill in for your address and flight number if you had one.

Fist reports and subsequent reports are slightly different. If it is his first report, there will be no slip (which is normally stapled into my passport).

    Thanks for all the replies.

It was my first report, will try to do it online next time.

Arrived at Chaeng Wattana with the TM47 and my passport at 8.30 and was on my way by 9.30.

    Cheers.

I give the (trusted) motosai taxi guy my passport which has the previous slip in it, and 200b.
