Bugger it, easier to get the bus
Well, even though I have an extremely high opinion of myself; I don't have my head so far up my own ass to admit when I'm wrong..
A quick google of the officer's name shows;
Police Lt รุ่งอรุณ คมหมู่ worked รอง สว.ด่าน ตม.ทอ.กรุงเทพฯ บก ตม. ๒ at Bangkok for Immigrations Division 2 (they run the airports) and that he was transferred to รอง สว.ด่าน ตม.กาบเชิง บก. ตม.๔ Kap Choeng Immigrations Division 4
I bow to your finite wisdom Pragmatic... If I see you on the street I will genuflect and tug my fetlock err forelock as you pass by..

Be mindful that in using this you are also giving them your IP address and specifically linking yourself to it. I don't want to carry that any further, but it is something to think about.
Please, BobR don't hold back, "carry it further". . ..
I knew it would only be a while until the "tin-foil hat brigade" came out from their totally off the grid bomb shelter and using two dixie cups and a piece of string posted something like this.
Christ they already have all your pertinent information AND you're telling them where you live simply by doing a 90 day report..
The real question is; WTF are you doing that you don't want the "thought police" to know about. Still down loading that japanese bukkake porn, are you?
Don't forget, when you turn in your 90 day report by hand the paper has your finger prints on it too! I heard they check them against the whole worlds data base!
It wobbles the mind, really it does..
You don't have to apologise. We can't be right all of the time.Originally Posted by toddaniels

Yeah, I'm short on wisdom too (having had my wisdom teeth pulled a couple years ago).
Conversely, I do have boxes of hindsight stacked around the apartment if anyone wants some.
I live 340km ish NE of Bkk. I too thought it'd be dropped, but it worked for me. Time will tell.Originally Posted by Dragonfly94

May be because of the smugness in which he posted? He kind of brags that he has this 'reliable source' when in fact he clearly hasn't.Originally Posted by Neverna

Wouldn't it be a little bit difficult on the internet?Originally Posted by Dragonfly94
[QUOTE=Phuketrichard;2957841][B]Although it says it only works with IEBANGKOK: -- Thai Immigration has confirmed to Thaivisa.com that it is now possible to make your Notification of Staying in the Kingdom over 90 Days online! Currently the system only works with Internet Explorer but it will be possible to do your 90 day report with other browsers soon.
i was able to get it to open using firefox 36 with no problems
( just click ok when the box opens telling u it only work in IE)
Good work Immigration!!!
Although my report seemed to be accepted, no confirmation was sent, so I could not check the status without a reference number, so I had to go tho immigration and do the normal thing, any suggestions please? Lilbil

Try doing it with IE ,the browser the Immigration Department recommend
If you indeed actually completed the report, you could have went right back to the main screen, accepted the terms & conditions then on the next screen selected the "Check the status of your application".
You can check the status via the reference number they give you or by your personal information (passport, DOB, nationality)..
More and more reports are trickling in that it's working.
Give the thaiz some time, I imagine they'll either get it sorted out or shit can the whole idea.
I think the funniest thing I've read on all the threads about this was from one poser on T/V;
Incredibly they thought an Ozzie girl named "LOGI TECH or TECH LOGI with the passport number A12345 and a TM card with TM12345 was a real person!!kennw: I looked at the "example" shown on the Immigration website. The example says you can check your status,but it shows a list of the applicants and their status, ie pending, it also gives applicants names, passport numbers, and DOB. In my opinion not good to have that info out there, so I opted for the mail method this time. Will wait to see actual results not the example.
The mind wobblez.. Or at least mine does...
Didn't work for me. Couldn't get to page 2 the address and visa info page. Off to Kapcheong again I guess.
Keep trying. If I can do it I'm sure everyone can?Originally Posted by Humbert

Beginning to sound encouraging.
