That is very odd because the question to be answered is " how much annual income does this person get"....not what bank is it deposited into. I've never been asked for, or volunteered any banking information when asking for my "income letter" from the embassy. It should not be relevant in any way for the purposes of issuing a confirmation letter for Thai immigration....

Both USA & UK have substantial Embassies in CNX. Others - minor - include Australia, Japan, Korea, Bangladesh.
From my experience, the Oz Consulate visits the jails. Other functions ZERO.
To travel to BKK to get the appropriate documentation is not financially viable.
Thus the $$$ in bank option is "smooth". I will be there on Thursday. I anticipate that the procedure will take 15-20min via "Queue-on-line" system.Last edited by cnx37; 15-12-2014 at 06:28 PM.
