you don't have to actually go far really, it is all paperwork

go to the border, get your exit stamp

go to the Laos/Cambodian/Burmese etc immi office, pay them what they need

Get an entry stamp, go to the opposite office, get an exit stamp

go back into Thailand, get another 90 days

    time about 1 hour
    I have reported your post

I did koh kong last month it cost me $25 USD they don't seem to give as much shit as they did last year. Ride into town is $3 or 100 baht per person you wont get it any lower the bridge is now 1400 reil for motor bike.
Back tey want $8 tuktuk 2 people but you can get them down to $6 but you pay the bridge 2x 1400 reil for tuk tuk I think it's 3x1400 for a car.
Coming back there is no fee Thailand side for farang or Thais and the mini bus will be sitting right side of the road waiting to Uturn back to Trad 120 baht.

I did Osmach 4/1/13 they wanted 1000baht and they showed me about 10 farang visa applications that had been through for the week and said that's the price that's all the money we get they don't take e-visas.
Cost me 2000 baht to get to Siem reap as they only had 2 taxis working but the roads are brilliant. I think if I had USD at the time I could have got the trip for 45-50 as I'm convinced that Cambodians think 2000 baht is $50 when it's really about 63.

My advice to anyone who goes to Cambodia never speak in Thai Baht you will lose another %20-30 on top of the price quoted in USD.

You do need to know which line to get in during the process. Once you have gone thru this process, it is pretty strait forward to do it again.

Always good to know someone in the local police. His going with you the first time would make the trip to Laos a breeze.
