    Chanthaburi Passport Office Telephone No.?

Does anyone happen to know the Chanthaburi Passport Office telephone number? My GF's 15 yr old son wants to obtain a Thai passport but his father is living in Hong Kong. The son was born out of wedlock, so there's no marriage papers, and we're not sure exactly what documentation will be required.

    Thanks!

There is a passport office there, we've used it - about 200m from main bus station on road towards the lights that take you to Tesco. Sorry don't have their ph - but that second post should assist.

^ and for navynine - you're talking about Thai Immigration not passports?

Maybe not aware that since September or October 2012 there is an Immigration Service Centre in Chan city, no need to go to Pong Nam Ron office for extensions etc anymore (unless you live near there), saves me a 110km round-trip. I went last month, in 8.30 out 8.45am, three staff and I was only customer, though had been past at other times and dozens of Cambodians outside there waiting for work permits.

The staff in the Chanthaburi Imm office are the most helpful I have ever seen in Thailand, give them a call and they will probably have the number for you.
