Last week, I had one of my Thai teacher friends ask me to help her with checking the English content of a document.
The document was all about "morals" & "ethics".
Basically, the teacher who wrote the document was "reporting" on the abovementioned subjects (morals & ethics). The report indicated the results of a 1 year survey that was conducted at my place of work. There was no mention of GPA's or other "grade" related material.
Upon witnessing such a report, I feel that it reaffirms my concept that the Thai education system will not progress until they actually start to concentrate on education "results". Also, I would guess that such stupid & wasteful avenues will not be curtailed until the "old" generation of teachers either dies or retires.
Has anybody else witnessed such stupid & wasteful activities?
