    TEFL question

This guy i know has got a well paid job in Laem Chanbang, anyway he's just brought his English misses and kid over to live with him (regretting it already), she ain't even been here a week and is bored out of her head and i was chatting to her last night and she's interested in teaching English, she doesn't have a degree or any teaching experience, but i explained that doesn't seem to matter here, and i also explained that she'll probably only earn $50 a month, but that doesn't worry her either as money ain't an issue, she just needs something to occupy her time. But she does want to be legal.

So basically can she do a TEFL course here in Pattaya with no degree and no teaching experience, and after she's done the course legally work at a school in the Pattaya area??????

As far as I know, yes.

    But Laem Chanbang..... Fark.

He might be better living in Bangkok and commuting for the sake of his family, or move into Pattaya.

Plenty of social networks for her to get involved there. She could volunteer at an orphange etc.

Teaching is not the only option. In fact she could volunteer at one of the local schools, reading programmes etc.
