Bangkok Hilton please!!

Hang out for 6 months and keep expenses to a minimum. You will barely make enough teaching to cover the rice. Swing back home and work for 3 - 6 months and repeat
You can get a studio in Pattaya for 7 - 8000 baht a month.
If you're looking for a job in the chemicals business, I'd recommend you check around the Rayong area. There is a huge industrial estate called Map-ta-put which is full of chemical and petrochemical companies. There is also Thai Oil which is in Rayong itself. Quite a bit of teaching available in the area as well. Good luck !!
I just started teaching in thailand.
Fikn horrible place to live though. Air pollution in Mataphut is up there with worst in Asia.Originally Posted by JoGeAr

Why do you want to start teaching? Because you want to teach, or it's the only way you can think of to earn a living in Thailand?
Plan to become yet another TEFL-er in Bangkok living on low wages. Great idea, Smeg would have a few things to say on this.
Never tried it mate.
