How to get into teacher training

    ^
I would like to get into teacher training after some 12 years of teaching ADOSing and in school training.
Today I am giving a presentation at Payayp uni about how to achieve success in English.
How do i go about starting up a teacher training programme?
    Is it expensive?

    Serious question.
I might open a new thread about it.

One way is to get a TESOL Diploma (its usually a minimum qualification for a trainer at most decent TESOL courses) and apply at TESOL training schools. If you are nt hard up for money or you have some free time you could even go to the local course and offer to start as a volunteer observer.

Well, I suppose you have to get certified at another school which is already certified. I assume CELTA will be the best certification, but I have absolutely no idea. In fact I think you probably know more about it than me, so why did you ask?

Pay the money to the powers that be to set up a legal company offering TEFL courses.

Set up a webpage and marketing campaign with the slogan "Why go home? You can live here too. For 50,000 we will give you an official TELF Cert and organise a job for you in Boon Lek"

Take on 10 stus a month for the 4 week course, that's 1/2 a mill baht. Minus the bribes to the people who gave you the certs. That'll leave you bout 100K a month minus rent. Or just do it in your living room.
