Private schools not allowed to raise tuition fees next school year
The Private Education Commission has decided against allowing private schools which receive subsidy from the government to raise their tuition fees, the permanent secretary for Education said Friday.
Dr Jaruayporn Thoranin, said the PEC decided that private schools in all levels, including kindergarten and vocational schools, would have to use the 2006 rates of tuition fees for the 2007 school year.
