The confession by comedian Rory Bremner that he and his colleagues are “afraid to joke about Islam” for fear of being killed, has revealed precisely how far the stifling dark shadow of Islam has already fallen over Britain and all of Europe.
Mr Bremner, most famous for his contributions towards the shows Spitting Image, Week Ending, Now — Something Else, and Whose Line Is It Anyway?, made the remarks in a documentary due to be aired on TV this week.
“Comedians are forced to censor their jokes because they fear a backlash if they offend Islamic fundamentalists,” Mr Bremner was quoted as saying.
“The greatest danger now is that one of the toughest issues of our time is religion.
“When [I'm] writing a sketch about Islam, I’m writing a line and I think, ‘If this goes down badly, I’m writing my own death warrant there'.
“Because there are people who will say, ‘Not only do I not think that’s funny but I’m going to kill you’ — and that’s chilling,” Mr Bremner said.

Muslims, globally, are so over-sensitive about the public image that they foster, regarding Islam, that they can not show any form of tolerance to criticism.

If any other religious group exhibited such intolerance to criticism, they would be branded as rigid and defensive to say the least.

Muslim countries openly criticise and condemn Christians, Jews any other religious group and atheists with free abandon. They think that they have a right to do so, with impunity.

These countries openly restrict freedom of worship, selectively.
Muslim sects repress and condemn each other, violently.

Why not. Jokes like that aren't having a go at anyone really. Just taking the piss a bit. A non Muslim told it to me after I converted. All I did was spice it up a bit.

I was at the point of converting when I met my future wife. I stopped the booze and behaving like a dog 11 months before I converted. The conversion was In the UK and before I popped the question. My wife didn't know I had converted until after she accepted.
I was a total bastard before but I didn't half have fun. I still have fun but no hangovers now. Bonus.
