But that's the thing of it all, it has been done so many times before it's simply no longer worth the effort. This sort of stuff is only propogated because people want to believe it, so even though it doesn't bear even the most cursory examination of fact or logic you'll still have those asking for it to be disproved, wilfully ignoring the fact it already has been.

'Issues' is supposed to have some rules and guidelines, if you post something you're supposed to add your own thoughts and commentary to it. Some posters like blackgang seem to have a special dispensation when it comes to this however, hence this repetitive cut 'n pasted e-mail chain-letter guff.

Therefore it's a bit backwards to insist that something that hasn't been proven be disproven -- the absence of a negative doesn't prove a positive, Russell's teapot and all that.
