Video: 102 Minutes That Changed America

Playing this month, History Channel's super riveting documentary with a humanistic viewpoint of the events of WTC collapse on 9-11 , 2001 .

Mostly raw amateur video with excellent audio addition.

I believe it's about time to get over your beloved references to 9/11.

^ I have watched part 1, and there is no talk of any conspiracy. Its a "streetlevel" docu of something that changed world history, and scared the shit out of people who lived there.

Fucking hell, they are still going on and on about it.

Will it ever get to the point like the Japanese have where they only mention Hiroshima and Nagasaki once a year?

    I doubt it.

This video is not the usual macho NYFD hero worship BS .. It is actually a very different account. ( because it was produced by women )

I've watched it several times now and I'm stuck by the originality of the sound track. I'm sure it will win awards... the parts where the various fire brigade radios are emitting that weird otherworldly 5 note carrier signal ...( ? ) I guess radios that are under several dozen floors of debris emit...

Just the people's reactions is really what it depicts, I never really thought about how utterly frightening it must have been for the people in the area. Some of the scenes of the immense dust cloud hurricaning through lower Manhatten are straight out of a 50's monster flick.

I also strikes me there is very little blood just sort of a " Lathe of Heaven" type of ashen gray landscape.

(Surely one of the most bizarre and brilliant attacks ever executed.)

I recommend it , even if you don't have a personal or political interest in the subject.
    It is a riveting documentary.

One bad thing is the History Channel's editing , or more probably True visions cutting it for commercials, very crude and really sets back the entire piece somewhat.
