    Whining Noble Savage Apolgists.....or not?

Native American Holocaust This area of American history is usually omitted, ignored, or swept away. Perhaps a bit preachy, but makes for interesting reading. Understand your real history. Know your true ancestreal character.

No, It was not how Americans treated the indians, sure they did kill a great number of them but the Indians in turn did kill a lot of americans too.
What you posted was what the Europeans did to them in the very beginning, but you being a Bigot and again America so strong I expect that you understand Europeans as American when shit is being smeared and stirred.

The genocide of the native Americans continued after the thirteen colonies became America, and the settlers spread out across the land that is now the USA. Not something a white man can take any pride in.

When I learnt about the utterly barbaric 'Conquest' of South America by the Spaniards and Portugese, as a kid, it coloured my attitude against them (and Catholicism) for a long time.

I don't think this bit of American history is typically omitted, ignored, nor swept away. It was covered several times in the various mandatory history classes that I had to take while going to school in the US.

I know my basic history, and I know basically who my ancestors are as well - some of them are navtive Americans. But I tend not to dwell on, nor harbor ill will based upon things that happened in the distant past, and that I had no control over.

Remember this troll says he has spent most of his American life living in SE Asia so he knows zero about US school curriculum.
