Agree -- the media has painted Obama as the savior of the nation and McCain/Palin as bumbling fools. I was watching Bill Maher the other night - he spent 20 minutes ridiculing Palin on her wardrobe and the GOPs spending...of course there was nothing about that idiot Biden. Personally I think the media should be prohibited from reporting on the election until the day of....they do have rules but they need to be more stringent. It's a shame that the bleeding heart liberals (aka, the media) have put the fear of God into Americans that if they don't vote for Obama, the country is doomed.

I have only read some of the posts on this thread, but I find it unbelieveable that some do not believe that there is much chance of a VP becoming P.

Need to pay attention to McCains age. Need to consider the amount of unspoken hate for BO. I wish them both the best, but I am an American and look at this with both eyes open. Yes, IMO, we most likely will have a VP become P in the near future.

^ Thats been tried and failed more than once, most recently by the Israeli's. Like it or not, Hezbollah is part of the social fabric of the Shiite south of Lebanon.

Not one of mad Joe's more lucid statements I agree, although I am not sure if he was quoted out of context. Whats with France

- French troops withdrew from Lebanon in 1946, they'll only have been there with the UN since. I'm guessing he tripped over his tongue again, and really meant to say Israel. But thats gaffe' prone Joe for you- he is still one of the most experienced and knowledgable Politicians on the foreign policy front in Washington.

Biden, as incoming VP is being briefed on certain things like living quarters and some of issues. It's very common during transitions.
