and by 'productive' i'm going to assume you mean in the sense of addressing the issue, and not increasing capitalist production.

By capitalist production, you must be referring to the many 'scientists' who are making money out of this stuff, and the greenies who are gaining political status from a populist lie. (Much like Hitler, Bush have done).
