Israel's foreign minister on Monday called on NATO to expel Turkey as a member of the organization, in a move likely to further raise tensions between the countries.

"In light of Turkish President Erdogan's threats to invade Israel and his dangerous rhetoric, Foreign Minister Israel Katz instructed diplomats ... to urgently engage with all NATO members, calling for the condemnation of Turkey and demanding its expulsion from the regional alliance,"

"The people of Israel are ready for this, they see with their own eyes the results of the withdrawal. It started in Oslo, then the withdrawal from Lebanon and Gush Katif and the thought that it is possible to gather behind walls, fences and sensors and build on international guarantees".

The Israelis have threatened to invade another country - Lebanon - going all the way to Beirut. Israel seems to think it's OK for them to invade another country but not for another country to invade Israel.

I doubt Turkey will invade Israel but Israel can't be sure that Turkey won't intervene militarily somehow. I suppose Erdogan's words create a bit of strategic ambiguity that might make Israel think twice about going to war against Lebanon, which I expect was his intention.

Me too at present at present the Arabs have no nuclear capability like Ukraine, however with millions of Pakistanis throughtout the 'sandpit oil states" I expect KSA and UAE may be in the market for a Tandoori-Nuke during the transfer window while Iran may reach critcality tho that is like nuclear fusion and a cure for cancer, baldnesss and Spamdreath always around tthe corner.
