Is Maga Trumpism the long awaited Third party in the USA ?

For all the narcissism, lunacy, clowniness, corruption and political correctomundo bad breath, has Trump finaly broken the "one party, two fractions, political tradition in the USA ?

He doesn't fit in either of the two established corporate bought franchises, so I guess he has shattered a ceiling or ten.

He is obviously a threat and will be persecuted by the establishment.

    Good or bad ?

Rep and Dem parties control the system and have since day one. Even with Trump's relatively large support ain't going to happen.

"If you think launching an independent presidential campaign is a fool's errand—the chances of winning are infinitesimal—consider the impact Ralph Nader, Ross Perot, and others like them have had on the electoral process.

    Ross Perot
Billionaire Texan Ross Perot won a startling 19% of the popular vote in the 1992 presidential election in what many believed was the beginning of a third party in American politics. Democrat Bill Clinton won the election and unseated Republican incumbent President George H.W. Bush, a rare defeat in American politics. Perot also won 6% of the popular vote in the 2006 election.

    Ralph Nader
Consumer and environmental advocate Ralph Nader won nearly 3% of the popular vote in the close 2000 presidential election. Many observers, primarily Democrats, blame Nader for costing Vice President Al Gore the election against Republican nominee George W. Bush.

    John B. Anderson
Anderson's name is one few Americans remember. But he won nearly 7% of the popular vote in the 1980 presidential election won by Republican Ronald Reagan, who pushed Democrat Jimmy Carter out of the White House after one term. Many people blamed Anderson for Carter's loss.

    George Wallace
In 1968 Wallace won 14% of the popular vote. Republican Richard Nixon defeated Democrat Hubert Humphrey in that election, but Wallace's showing was impressive for an American Independent candidate.

    Theodore Roosevelt
Roosevelt won more than 27% of the vote in 1912 when he ran as a progressive candidate. He didn't win. But carrying a quarter of the vote is impressive, especially when you consider the Republican nominee, William Howard Taft, carried only 23%. Democrat Woodrow Wilson won with 42% of the vote."

You know, Norton, when I was young, I wondered why both parties in the US was supported by the same "intererest"

I didn't understand why they "played" both horses in the race.

    Now I do

They own both horses and it's a charade kept in play by a media owned by the same "interest", who appoints the muppets, who'll run for the muppet parliament.

The Muppet president will appoint the Muppet supreme court muppets and the circle is complete.

Will the uncontrollable tosser Trump be able to do the trick again or will they eliminate him ?

It's only a year away. Delays and appeals can easily stretch beyond that if you have the money for lawyers.

If he sees money in it, he will start his own party.

And that would be fucking epic, because it would split the right wing vote and guarantee Dems win every time.

John Adams not to be confused with JOhn Quincy Adams won as a Federalist against Washington as third POTUS.

Like Goerge Dubya J Quincy Adams was the son of a President I think his vote share pre contingent election lowest of any POTUS he even came second to Jackson in the electoral college but won the run off once Clay eliminated and gave his support.Clay a distant relative of my mums and the notorious Kennedy conspirator
